a day in the "park"

Just got back from Lam Kiong Live firing area in Tuas. . .
what a long long long day. . .
it didn't do any good that i was with my CSM the whole day as Sentry ic. . .
in short we were not doing anything except for deploying the men at their respective sentry point, sending them lunch and dinner and pulling them back at 2300hrs. . .
in the end i ended up talking crap with him. . .
it appear that my CSM was not as mean and straight as we have thought to be. . .
For instance, i asked him what he usually do on weekends and his answer was,
"do what kids do, watch cartoon and etc. . ."
he even show his lighter side when he asked everyone if they wanted coke and we went all out to some neighborhood to get it. . . - WELFARE for soldiers. . .
he share with me his beliefs, now let me share with ya. . .

• "i'm a Buddhist because they don't force ya to pray at the temple" -better be a free thinker mah. . .

a crazy day entertaining him and the others, exercise ends at 2250hrs. . .
i reached camp around 0030hrs. . .
feeling so tired and lethargic, so i guess i'm staying in and leaving early later around six. . .
